HireLevel is seeking a Sanitation Worker in Edwardsville, IL!
We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Sanitation Worker to help maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment. This position will be responsible for cleaning kitchen equipment, washing dishes, maintaining dining areas, removing trash, and following proper sanitation practices.
Job Title: Sanitation Worker
Job Type: Contract
Location: Edwardsville, IL
Shift: Monday–Friday, 5:30 PM–2:00 AM
Pay: $17 - 18/hour

Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes and kitchen items
- Clean dining area tables and chairs
- Remove trash and clean trash cans
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment and work areas
- Wash and sanitize walls and surfaces in kitchen areas
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in the service area
- Follow proper cleaning and sanitation procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Ability to follow instructions and established procedures
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment and cleaning solutions preferred
- Understanding of proper sanitation and cleaning practices
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
- Dependable and able to work independently
- Ability to meet background and drug screen requirements
