    Cambridge House of Maryville Seeking Volunteers

    Resident Services Coordinator Kathy Tammen is asking for members of the public who might be interested in assisting with or leading certain activities with our residents.
    Examples of activities include bingo calling, leading arts & crafts groups or various interest groups.  Anyone with a special skill, hobby, or talent is also encouraged to volunteer.  
    Volunteer hours are flexible, and are available during weekdays, weeknights, weekends, and holidays.  Volunteers of all ages are welcome, especially those who are in need of volunteer service hours for school districts or local churches.

    Jarvis Senior Center

    Volunteer is needed to call bingo on Friday's from 12:15 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. (You can pick a Friday or do them all). Businesses are welcome to sponsor Bingo. A Volunteer is also needed on Tuesdays and Thursdays mornings 9:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. to ride Senior Van and assist carrying groceries into homes.

    Ministries Unlimited

    Ministries Unlimited will need volunteers to help deliver Christmas boxes and gifts on December 21st at 9:00 A.M. The delivery location this year is the Troy United Methodist Church. Boxes will be packed December 17th - 20th at 9:00 A.M. daily, volunteers are needed for this as well. 
    A cash donation goal of $40,000 has been set for this Christmas season.

    Special Olympics

    Volunteers are the core of the Special Olympics program and we could not exist today without the time, energy, education and commitment of our volunteers. Special Olympics Illinois relies on people of all ages to help in every aspect of the program – both at the local and state level. Anyone 10 years or older can be a general Special Olympics volunteer and coaches must be at least 14 years of age or older. For more information, reach out to Steve Whitlatch at swhitlatch@soill.org or 618-654-6680.

    Salvation Army

    We are in desperate need of a volunteer to help with our food pantry.  We need someone preferably that can lift, and pack food orders.  Pantry hours are Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, from 1pm - 2:45pm and we do Pizza and Produce distribution on Friday from 1 pm - 2 pm.  We do prefer someone to be here to help sort product and pack prepacks in the morning hours from 9am - Noon.  Lunch is provided every day of work. If you know of anyone that can help, please send them our way.

    The Sexual Assault Victims Care Unit (SAVCU) is in the process of starting a Sexual Assault Response Team in the SW IL region - all in the counties of Madison, Monroe, Randolph, Jersey, and St. Clair. We are currently looking for:
