LOVE WHAT YOU DO EVERY SINGLE DAY

Do you wake up every morning loving what you do?  I do.  Now, I don’t want you to think that every single day is perfect – that is far from the truth.  But, when you have a career (or two, as I do) and you feel like you are making a difference, it changes everything.
    
On June 6, I celebrated 20 years with the Troy/Maryville/St. Jacob/Marine Chamber of Commerce.  In the Chamber world, 20 years is like 110 years!  The job can be grueling – events at all hours, planning multiple events at one time, countless meetings, providing conflict resolution, attending an enormous amount of networking events and doing whatever it takes to make sure that things run smoothly.  The job can also be amazing – planning events that build memories for the attendees, meeting more people than you can imagine, experiencing new opportunities and helping businesses be the best they can be.  
    
Why am I telling you all of this?  Because life is too short not to love what you do for a living.
