  • E-CYCLING AND SHREDDING SET FOR MAY 13

The time has come to gather your old lawn mowers, tvs, computers, home electronics, washers, dryers, batteries, cell phones … the list is endless.  The Troy/Maryville/St. Jacob/Marine Chamber of Commerce will be hosting their Semi-Annual E-cycling/Shredding Day on Saturday, May 13, from 9:00 a.m. until noon at Troy United Methodist Church (407 Edwardsville Road, Troy).

CJD E-cycling will be ready to load their big truck with your items.  We will also have The Shred Truck, who will shred all of your items right in front of you.  The Troy Lions Club will also be on hand to accept old prescriptions, eye glasses and hearing aids.  Our volunteers will be our wonderful Triad students.  You will see them in their orange vests and orange flags.

All of the above is free, with the exception of tv’s and computer monitors.  For pricing on these items, please contact CJD E-cycling at 618-659-9006.  Shredding is FREE and is not limited.

“Please be kind when you arrive.  There may be a wait but we will do the best to get everyone through the line as soon as possible” said Mushill.  “I might suggest that you not be there at 9:00 a.m. but maybe a little later in the morning” said Mushill.

For more information, you can visit the Chamber’s website at www.troymaryvillecoc.com or give them a call at 618-667-8769.  Be sure to follow the Chamber on FB and LinkedIn for more information.
