A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A DOG BATHER
As an entry-level dog bather, you get to help ensure that the skin and coat of each of our grooming clients' furry family members are kept clean and healthy. You bathe and brush dogs, as well as clip nails, clean paw pads, perform anal gland expression, clean ears, and apply finishing touches such as bows and bandanas. And, just to prove how amazing you are, you groom cats too!
While you prepare, bathe, and finish animals, your calm demeanor and use of best practices minimize their stress and help promote a safe and positive grooming experience for all involved. You take getting hairy and wet in stride. In fact, all the puppy love you get more than makes up for it! You love your job so much that you are considering advancing to our stylist program with includes 14 weeks of paid training.
While prior grooming experience would be helpful, it is not required for this entry-level position. We will train you! Do you have a knack for handling animals safely and are receptive to learning more? Do you work well as part of a team? Are you observant and good at making quick, sensible decisions? Are you conscientious about following policies and protocols? If so, you might just be perfect for this position!
Our grooming hours are 7:00 am until the last appointment, so this position requires flexibility within those hours. We are also open 7 days a week, therefore weekends and holidays are part of the job.
ARE YOU READY?
If you feel that you would be right for this entry-level position, please fill out our initial 3-minute, mobile-friendly application. We look forward to meeting you!
