Special Projects Coordinator-Marketing and Intake (grant-funded)

Southwestern Illinois College is accepting applications for the SWIC Educational Employee part-time grant-funded position of Special Projects Coordinator - Marketing and Intake.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

In accordance with the Mission and Values of Southwestern Illinois College, the Special Projects Coordinator- Marketing and Intake provides information throughout the district communities about Adult Education classes and vocational programs. The coordinator works with a variety of internal and external offices and agencies to identify, recruit and retain students and acts as the department liaison with Public Information and Marketing. In addition, the Coordinator disseminates information about department support services to current and prospective students and to community agencies. Responsibilities are district-wide and may require travel. This is a part-time twelve-month position, up to 28 hours per week. This position is contingent upon grant funding.

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Bachelor degree required.

2. Ability to use computers in a networked environment, specifically work in a Microsoft Windows environment using Word and database systems, required.

3. Good oral and written communications skills required.

4. Ability to work as a member of a team required.

5. Previous experiences in work with disadvantaged preferred.

STARTING PAY AND HOURS

$24.26 per hour, up to 28 hours per week
