HR Generalist

Job Summary:  Our client in Greenville is looking for a HR Generalist to join their team!  The HR Generalist is responsible for recruitment of all hourly employees, new employee orientation and job postings.  HR Generalist also manages work comp claims, handles OSHA logs, develops planning strategies for long term staffing needs.

Location: Greenville, IL
Position type: Part Time, Evaluation Hire (may lead to full time)
Pay: Up to $20/hr, BOE

Qualifications:  

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
• Minimum of 5 years Human Resources experience, with manufacturing background
• Excellent Oral and Written Communication
• The ability to read and understand information and ideas presented in writing
• Proficient with Microsoft applications ( Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Understands the importance of confidentiality
• Ability to work on multiple tasks.
• Understanding of basic employment law
• Ability to use good judgment and common sense to make decisions.
