    Job DescriptionConstruction TechnicianWisper Internet is seeking a full time non-exempt Construction Technician to join our Civil Construction Team. We are looking for a skilled crew member to positively influence our Construction Department. The Construction Technician will be installing communications equipment on the ground in a tower setting while ensuring safety and quality of work.Essential Job FunctionsUnderstand & implement all safety & traffic control standardsSet concrete pads & concrete finishing as neededSet cabinets and connect electrical wiring & ensure proper groundingAssist other crew positions as neededUnderstand & apply Scope Of Work to complete projects efficiently & ontimeKeep vehicles, equipment, & tools maintained & in good working orderEnsure quality of job sites & share feedback to help improve processesProvide progress updates to the foreman & managementAssist with loading & unloading of parts & equipmentAssist with project completion documentationEnsure project-readiness with supplies & tools as neededOther responsibilities as directedJob RequirementsCurrent valid Driver's LicenseHigh school diploma or equivalent2+ years demonstrated experience in Telecom OSP construction or related construction experience1+ year electrical experienceAble to operate hand & power tools in a safe mannerAble to perform physical labor (hand digging with shovels, picks, & rock bars etc)Ability to travel away from home for up to 1 week at a time- 75% per yearAbility to be added to Company auto-insurance policyAbility to drive a truck & trailerRegular & predictable attendance requiredLegally authorized to work in country of employment without requiring sponsorship for employment visa status, now or in the futureMust pass a background check, MVR & drug screenPhysical Requirements: Light: Lifting 0-10 lbs. Moderate: Lifting 0-25 lbs.
