Mortgage Loan Processor

We are a local community-focused financial institution looking for a highly motivated self-starter! The ideal candidate is disciplined, professional, and has experience in the residential mortgage lending origination and/or processing areas.

Duties and Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Assisting borrowers with loan application completion
• Collecting and reviewing all required application documentation
• Ensuring completeness of application and supporting documentation
• Preparing virtual files for loan applications to continue to processing and underwriting
• Preparing application documents and disclosures for borrower(s) signature
• Ordering all necessary third-party verification/documentation for loan files
• Providing current mortgage interest rates and loan product information to potential customer(s)
• Following up with potential customers to help drive activity
• Answering questions from current customers on the servicing of their loan (payments, etc.)

Requirements:

• Excellent organizational skills
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent computer/technology skills

Education:

• Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

• mortgage processing: 1 year (Preferred)
• mortgage origination: 1 year (Preferred)
• customer service: 1 year (Preferred)

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Ability to multi-task competing priorities and meet tight deadlines
• Ability to apply company policies and regulations appropriately

Preferences:

• At least one year of residential mortgage origination or processing experience preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree in business or finance
• TRID/Reg Z experience a plus

Details and Benefits:

• The position is a full-time hourly position
• The average work week is 37 hours per week (Monday – Saturday with a weekday off each week)
• Hourly range is $17-$19 depending on experience
• Eligible for signing bonus
