SUMMARY:Cougars Unleashed Homecoming Run
DESCRIPTION:Be a part of SIUE's 4th Annual Cougars Unleashed Homecoming Run! Community members\, students and alumni are encouraged to participate. Race proceeds will benefit SIUE Alumni Association Scholarships for deserving students.\n\nAll SIUE alumni will receive a $5 discount when registering!\n\nDue to the popularity of this event\, all participants are encouraged to register online prior to race day. Race day registration will be available at Birger Hall between 7:30 a.m. and 8:30 a.m.\n\nAfter the run\, stay and enjoy family entertainment and a world-famous Chris Cakes pancake breakfast. Breakfast is included in your race entry fee and consists of pancakes\, sausages and Tang. Breakfast for non-runners can be purchased the day of the event via cash or card. All participants 21 and over can also enjoy beer provided by Recess Brewing\, including an exclusive SIUE Alumni Ale.\n\nRace packets can be picked up in the lobby of B. Barnard Birger Hall on the SIUE campus\, located at 30 N. Circle Drive on Thursday\, September 26 from 4 p.m.-8 p.m. or on race day from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.\n\nAwards- top male and female runners in 5K and 10K and medals for top 2 men and women in the following age groups: 14 and under\, 15-19\, 20-24\, 25-29\, 30-34\, 35-39\, 40-44\, 45-49\, 50-54\, 55-59\, 60+\n\nSHIRTS ARE NOT GUARANTEED FOR REGISTRATIONS AFTER 9/3/19.\n\nRace timing provided by Rich Luers\, SIUE Alumnus and owner of Final Lap Race Management.\n\n\n\nIf you or your company would like to become a sponsor for this event\, please contact Nick Niemerg at 618-650-3630 or nniemer@siue.edu for more information.
