Annual Holiday Funds Drive

Starting on December 12 going through December 16, Ministries Unlimited will be holding its annual drive to benefit the less fortunate in our community. This year's goal is set at $40,000. Bethel Baptist Church will be the distribution set this year starting on Tuesday December 12th.

Distribution day will be Saturday December 16. Triad School District, churches, businesses, boy and girl scouts, groups, and residents have come together for years to provide happiness for the holidays. Food boxes, gift certificates toys are provided to make the holiday season bright for all. Food and new unwrapped toys should be brought to Bethel Baptist Church beginning Tuesday morning Dec 12th. Monetary contributions should be mailed to Ministries Unlimited 310 Collinsville Road, Troy, IL 62294.

Boy Scouts Food Drive

The Boy Scout Troop will be collecting food items for there food drive. Bags will go out on November 11. They will pick up on November 18.

Early Rise Buffet

Come out to Country Pride Restaurant for the early riser ans stir fry buffets! The Early Riser Buffet is Monday-Friday from 5 AM-8 AM and it is $6.99 The Create Your Own Stir Fry Buffet is Wednesdays and Thursdays from 4 PM-9 PM and costs $13.99. We hope to see you there! Come out to the Tri-Township Library on November 18th from 2:30pm-5:00 PM for a Holiday Pop Up Store! There will be vendors such as: Pampered Chef, Lip Sense, Scentsy, Avon, Lula Roe, and more.This is a great opportunity to shop for Christmas gifts!

Thanksgiving Feast

Come out to Country Pride Restaurant on Nov 23rd for a Thanksgiving Feast. The dinner includes: oven roasted turkey and ham with dressing, homemade mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, soup and salad bar, and pumpkin pie.

The Knights Ball

Come support Triad Athletics on Saturday May 12, 2018 from 6:00 PM- 11:00 PM. This event will be held at the Fireman's Hall in Collinsville IL. Tickets are $100 each and can be purchased at Triad middle and High School offices, the Chamber office, and Timeout Grill. Must be 21 or up to attend.

This event will feature the live band Living Loud . The Red Carpet begins at 5:30 PM, Band will be playing from 7:00-11:00 PM, and food and drink will be served all evening. You are able to win up to $15,000 in CASH. $1,000 Early Bird drawing on Jan 31st, 2018. **cash prizes are dependent upon ticket sales**

Troy Librabry Book Sale

The next book sale at the Tri Township Library will be Friday November 18th from 9 AM to noon. Books, magazines, puzzles, DVDs, and CD donations are accepted during regular library hours or day of the sale. The book sale is sponsored by the Friends of the Library.

Woman's Club of Troy Meeting

The Woman's Club of Troy will be meeting at the Tri-Township Library on Tuesday November 21st at 7 PM. This will be the last business meeting of the year. The Christmas party will be on December 13th at Our Lady of the Snows. More information will be given at the November meeting.The Woman's Club of Troy is the oldest community service organization in Troy. New members are always welcome. Friends of the Maryville Community Library Book Sale **Due to severe space constraints, we no longer accept book donations.** There are books of all kinds for sale in the Friends' ongoing book sale: the latest fiction, cook books, bios, children's books, and more. Hidden treasures, old favorites, and new discoveries can all be yours for $5.00 a bag. The on-going book sale is held during regular library hours, six days a week. Stop by and browse. Educational Classes and Informational Meetings

Hello Everyone, The Alzheimer's Association Educational Classes will be at Main Street Community Center, in Edwardsville, the first Tuesday of every month.

To help reach families whose loved ones have Alzheimer's or other related dementias, the classes are FREE and open to the public. If you have any questions, please contact Sara Hoelscher at 618-979-3602.

Festival of Trees

The public is invited to visit the Festival of Trees on Dec. 6th at the Gateway Center. Event starts at 6pm.  People will be able to wander through the winter wonderland experience in the 40,000 sq foot event space. Beautifully decorated trees, wreaths, and holiday decor will be sold by silent auction.

Poker Walk

Come to Main Street to support Small Business Saturday on November 25 and stay on Main Street to support the Alzheimer's Association with the Trottin' Into Christmas Poker Walk. Registration is open 2:30pm-5:00pm at Stagger Inn and is $35 per person.

Stop by all 5 venues (Big Daddies, Chava's, Foundry, Laurie's Place, and Stagger Inn) between 3pm and 8pm to collect your poker hand and receive drink specials. Arrive at Laurie's Place before 8pm to turn in your score card. Here you will have the opportunity to purchase a trade out card to improve your poker hand, purchase 50/50 tickets and booze basket tickets. Winners will be announced at 8pm at Laurie's Place. Pay outs will be as follows: $200 for first place, $100 for second place, $50 for third place. Tickets are available online or at the registration table.

Santa Returns to Edison's

Edison's Entertainment Complex will host a Breakfast with Santa from 8:30-11am on Saturday, December 16. The cost for the pancake breakfast, a photo with Santa, and unlimited bowling, laser tag, and arcade will be $16 plus tax per guest. Breakfast-only tickets will also be available for just $10 plus tax per guest. Groups that RSVP by Monday, December 11 will receive a pass for free future game of bowling for each child in their group. RSVPs are strongly recommended but not required. There is no cost to RSVP - all fees will be collected at the door. Edison's Entertainment Complex is located at 2477 S. State Route 157 in Edwardsville. Savvy Caregiver Training Sessions

Are you a caregiver for a family member who has Alzheimer's disease or another related disorder? Are you looking for ways to increase your knowledge and confidence in this role? Join us at St. Johns Community Care Center for Savvy Caregiver Training sessions several times thought 2018. This training provides tools to family members who are caring for an individual with dementia/memory loss who is living at home, either alone or with family. Trivia Night!

To kick off the holiday season, Special Olympics Illinois (SOIL) and the Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR) will be hosting the 2017 Tailgate Trivia Knight on Saturday, December 2. This fundraiser is presented by the Knights of Columbus and is sponsored by GCS Credit Union. The event will be held at the O'Fallon KC Hall located at 402 East U.S. Highway 50 in O'Fallon with doors opening at 6p and trivia kickoff at 7 p.
