B.A.D. Bus

The Troy First National Bank presents the B.A.D. Bus on Friday November 10th from 2-5PM. The B.A.D. Bus will be driving into FNB's Branch to help raise bullying awareness and learn positive ways to deal with it. We will be serving hot dogs and treats for everyone that stops by.

Coats for Cuties

FCB Banks is collecting Coats for Cuties through November 10th. Coats for Cuties is a drive to collect new and gently used coats, hats, gloves and scarfs for children attending Kindergarten through 6th grade. You can drop off donations at our office in Maryville at 2729 Maryville Road or the Troy office at 504 Edwardsville Road or any FCB Banks location. A box is located in the lobby. The coats, hats, gloves and scarves collected will be distributed to area schools to give to local children who are in need of warm clothing for the winter.

Come to the Fall Art Quilt festival to see quilts, art work, crafts, holiday markets, and many other vendors. Highway Construction Careers Training Program

The HCCTP progam allows student to learn about tool use, equipment, math and comunication skills needed to be successful on the job in most construction industries. This program is free to a limited number of individuals who meet these qualifications.
Pass the interview process
Test drug free
Have a GED or high school diploma 
Have a valid Illinois driver’s license
Have a minumum TABE score of 8.0
The next session will begin January 4-April 5, 2018 Monday-Friday from 7:30 am- 4:00pm. Sessions will be held at East St. Louis Community College Center 601 James R. Thompson Blvd.

Promote Your Business at Trunk or Treat


CARD is partnering with Trailnet to host a Trunk or Treat and Spooky Bike Ride through the Seven Gates on October 28. We currently need businesses or organizations to help make this a spooktacular event for the community. Starting Small Business Workshop

This is an introductory course on opening a small, for-profit, business in Illinois, which will include resources available through the SBDC. The workshop is required to become a client and begin the free, on-on-one conseling sessions with a trained SBDC consultant.

"Starting a Small Business in Illinois", Wednesday, October, 2017 in Building D, Room 2002, East St. Louis Campus from 3-4:30 PM.

"Starting a Business in Illinois" workshops are subject to class size limits, so pre-registration is strongly encouraged. All participants are asked to pay a one-time, $10 registration fee to cover administrative costs.

Trivia Night!

To kick off the holiday season, Special Olympics Illinois (SOIL) and the Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR) will be hosting the 2017 Tailgate Trivia Knight on Saturday, December 2. Salvation Army Seeking Volunteers

The Salvation Army in Granite City, IL could use voluntees for assistance in the morning with stocking food pantry and making produce bags. In the afternoon we could use volunteers to assist with the distribution of the food orders for the clients of the food pantry.

Morning hours would be 9am-Noon, and Afternoon hours would be 1pm-2:45pm. If you would like to work the complete day, lunch is provided.
