Donations Wanted for Link Crew

This year we are hoping to send 3 more Triad teachers to be trained by the Link Crew program. The total cost of this will be $7,785.

The Foundation has agreed to pay half the cost($3,892.50). We are looking for anyone to help us spread the word on acquiring donations toward the remaining $3,892.50? Link Crew prides itself on creating relationships and a sense of community within our school, which helps with student attendance, student discipline, and student growth. I frequently hear people complement our students and feel Link Crew plays a positive role in helping create that culture. Other arguments are schools spend a lot of money on safety, bullying prevention, and social-emotional issues. We feel Link Crew goes a long way helping to alleviate all three of those issues as during Freshmen Kickoff Day taking care of each other and making connections is one of the major themes.

Triad's Link Crew program just completed another successful Freshmen Kickoff Day with over 250 Freshmen students and 94 Juniors/Seniors in attendance on a non-school day.

Here are some of the responses from our Freshmen survey:
"Please list your suggestions on how we can make Freshmen Kickoff Day better for 9th graders?"
I don't really have an answer because even though in the beginning I didn't want to go I had a blast and I would do it all over again.
Idk I thought it was pretty fun I think you guys should keep it the way it is it was enjoyable It was great!
I really enjoyed it.
I really liked Freshman Kickoff Day.
I can't think of anything to make it better.
